What is your typical turnaround time?
  • Production turnaround times do not start until a size break down is provided, all goods are in the facility, and all approvals have been received.
  • Stock Program Embroidery: 3-days
  • Stock Program Screen Print: 3-days on all 560M, 560LS, and 601T orders
  • Stock Program Screen Print: 10-days on all other items (excluding 560M, 560LS, and 601T)
  • Non-Stock Embroidery: 10-days
  • Non-Stock Screen Print: 15-days

How do you ensure that you get my order right?

An art proof and job approval form are supplied for every order. Once the details of your artwork and order are reviewed each form must be signed and return to us by 4:00 p.m. EST to be added to the production schedule. Orders without art and/or job approval do not enter the production process. Any delay in signing and returning the forms will result in a delay in order processing.

Do you accept rush orders?
  • Rush services are available based on capacity and must be approved by a Sales Associate or Account Manager
  • For same day rush services all goods and approvals must be received by 10:00am EST the day of desired ship-date. If waiting on goods to arrive, art approval must be received by noon EST the day before the goods arrive for same-day production (goods still must arrive by 10:00am).
  • For 1, 2, or 3-day rush services all goods and approvals must be received by 2:00pm EST

Is 5B's a PSST partner with any major suppliers?

Yes, 5B’s is a PSST partner of S&S, SanMar, and AlphaBroder.

Do you offer any personalization?

Personalization is available for embroidery, but not screen print. Please allow for additional production time on personalization orders. Personalization is based on availability and must be approved by a Sales Associate or Account Manager.

STOCK PROGRAM

I would like to utilize the 5B’s Stock Program for my order. Can I purchase tees, hoodies and long sleeve shirts to reach my desired order quantity?

Yes, you can mix and match garments from our stock program to reach a desired quantity.

My order does not include any items from the 5B’s Stock Program, can I still get the Stock Program pricing?

No, Stock Program benefits such as discounted decorating prices, free shipping on orders 72+, and our no spoilage guarantee are only available on goods purchased from our selection of on-site apparel.

My customer wants a shirt decorated that is not available through the 5B’s Stock Program. Will you still accept my order?

Yes! 5B’s does accepts orders that include customer supplied goods not featured in the 5B’s Stock Program. Print pricing for customer supplied goods will come from our standard contract price sheet and standard outbound shipping rates apply.

SCREEN PRINTING

What are your Screen Print Artwork Guidelines?
  • Artwork should be vector and files should be in one of the following formats (.EPS, .AI, .PDF, .SVG),
    raster files will NOT work (.JPG, .PNG, .PSD, .GIF) | Adobe Illustrator Vector Art Tutorial
  • Fonts and Text should be converted to outlines/expanded (if fonts cannot be outlined, please send font names andpermission to match fonts as closely as possible)
  • All colors should be Pantone Solid Coated (PMS) not RGB or CMYK | Pantone Color Finder
  • Please specify pantone colors when submitting PO
  • Artwork should not contain clipping masks

    • Artwork should not contain transparencies or blending modes

I don't have access to vector artwork, what do I do?

For most designs, our in-house artists can recreate your artwork for $35/hour with a 1 hour minimum. We cannot guarantee all artwork is able to be recreated exactly. Availability is based on capacity and must be approved by a Sales Associate or Account Manager.

What screen printing process does your company use?

5B’s specializes in multi-color, spot color screen printing. In some cases, we accept simulated process orders if high resolution artwork (300-600 dpi) is provided. 5B’s does not offer DTG printing or heat press services currently. If you are unsure whether 5B’s can print your design, please contact a Sales Associate or Account Manager for verification.

My customer would like his logo on both youth and adult shirts. What is the best way to proceed?

To print on both youth and adult shirts with the same screen, your customer will need to agree on a compromised print size that will fit all sizes youth through adult. If your customer wishes to use two different sized prints, your order will be split and treated as two separate orders. If the order is split, you must have at least 24 pieces for both the adult and youth order.

Do you offer specialty inks?
Available specialty inks including finesse, metallic, puff and glitter. Printing with any specialty ink will incur a 30¢ per print specialty ink up-charge.

EMBROIDERY

Do you offer digitizing?
  • Yes, we can digitize any file in the following formats: (.JPEG, .PNG, .JPG, .PDF, .AI, .EPS)
  • Standard turnaround time for digitizing is 2-3 business days
  • The cost is $35.00 up to 15,000 stitches, additional $5.00 per every 1,000 stitches exceeding 15,000
  • Reminder: Small details within your logo can be challenging to reproduce through embroidery, all letters and numbers must be a minimum of .25” tall
Can I supply my own DST file?
  • Yes, one free sew out is available for every new DST file submitted
  • Art cut off time is 12 p.m. EST to receive a sew out the following business day, anything received after 12p.m. EST will be received in 2-business days
  • Editing is available for existing DST files, but desired changes must be discussed and approved with a Sales Associate or Account Manager prior to acceptance (some limitations apply)
